Rules for the purchase and sale of goods
1. Definitions
The Data Controller and operator of the website www.jaseviciausbaldai.lt (hereinafter – the Data Controller) is A. Jasevičiaus baldai, UAB, company code 158831388, VAT payer code LT588313811, correspondence address – Nemuno g. 1, Rumšiškės, LT‑56336 Kaišiadorių r., Republic of Lithuania, email address – info@jaseviciausbaldai.lt.
Buyer – a legally capable natural or legal person who has purchased goods in the online store www.jaseviciausbaldai.lt.
The Rules for the Purchase and Sale of Goods (hereinafter – the Rules) regulate the rights and obligations of the Buyer and the Seller, the prices of Goods, payment procedures, terms, delivery, quality guarantee of Goods, return and exchange of Goods, and liability.
2. General Provisions
- These Rules for the purchase and sale of goods (hereinafter “the Rules”), once approved by the Buyer (after reviewing the Rules and checking the box next to the statement “I have read and agree with the Jaseviciausbaldai.lt rules”), constitute a legally binding document for both parties, establishing the rights and obligations of the Buyer and the Seller, the conditions for purchasing and paying for goods, the procedures for delivery and return of goods, the liability of the parties, and other provisions related to the purchase and sale of goods in the Jaseviciausbaldai.lt online store.
- The Seller reserves the right to change, amend, or supplement the Rules at any time, taking into account the requirements established by legal acts.
- Trading in the Jaseviciausbaldai.lt online store is carried out only within the territory of the Republic of Lithuania.
- The right to purchase in our online store is granted to:
- legally capable natural persons, i.e., persons who have reached the age of majority and whose legal capacity is not restricted by court order;
- minors aged fourteen to eighteen, only with the consent of parents or guardians, except in cases where the minor is emancipated;
- legal entities;
- authorized representatives of all the persons listed above.
- By confirming the Rules, the Buyer confirms that they have the right to purchase goods in the Jaseviciausbaldai.lt online store.
- If necessary or under circumstances provided for in the legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania, the Seller has the right to change or supplement the Rules.
- The Buyer must familiarize themselves with the Seller’s approved Privacy Policy. The Buyer expresses agreement or disagreement with specific methods of using their personal data in accordance with the procedure set out in the Privacy Policy.
If the Seller is required or obligated to provide documents or information to the Buyer by email, the Buyer is solely responsible for providing a valid email address belonging to them.
3. Personal Data Protection
- The Buyer may order goods in the Jaseviciausbaldai.lt online store without registering on this website.
- When ordering goods, the Buyer must provide the personal data necessary for proper order fulfillment in the information fields provided by the Seller: name, surname, delivery address, phone number, and email address.
- By confirming these Rules, the Buyer agrees that their personal data will be processed for the purposes of selling goods and services in the Jaseviciausbaldai.lt online store.
- By agreeing that their personal data will be processed for the purpose of selling goods and services in the Seller’s online store, the Buyer also agrees to receive informational messages to the email address and phone number provided, which are necessary for fulfilling the order.
- The Seller sends newsletters several times per month to the Buyer’s provided email address and provides the option to unsubscribe (at the end of the newsletter there is an option: “unsubscribe” – once the Buyer clicks the link, they will no longer receive newsletters).
- The Seller confirms that the Buyer’s provided personal data will be processed only for the purposes of selling goods and services in the Jaseviciausbaldai.lt online store, for the Seller’s activity analysis, and for direct marketing (except in cases where the Buyer opts out of having their personal data processed for direct marketing). The Seller undertakes not to disclose the Buyer’s personal data to third parties, except to the Seller’s partners who provide delivery or other services necessary for proper order fulfillment. In all other cases, the Buyer’s personal data may be disclosed to third parties only in accordance with the procedure established by the legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania.
- A Buyer wishing to order services offered by the Seller’s partners in the online store may do so by expressing consent that the clearly provided personal data be transferred to the respective partner for the purpose of providing the ordered services.
4. Moment of Conclusion of the Purchase–Sale Agreement
- The Buyer may order goods in the following ways:
- online without registering on Jaseviciausbaldai.lt;
- The agreement between the Buyer and the Seller is considered concluded from the moment when the Buyer, having selected the goods to be purchased and formed the shopping cart, clicks the link “Order,” and when the Seller, having contacted the Buyer via the phone number or email provided, confirms the order by sending an email regarding the order confirmation.
- Each purchase–sale agreement concluded between the Buyer and the Seller is registered and stored in the Jaseviciausbaldai.lt online store database.
5. Buyer’s Rights
- The Buyer has the right to purchase goods in the Jaseviciausbaldai.lt online store in accordance with these Rules and other procedures established in the Seller’s online store information sections.
- The Buyer has the right to access their personal data and the right to request correction of incorrect, incomplete, or inaccurate personal data by sending an email to info@jaseviciausbaldai.lt or calling +370 612 83059. In such a case, the Seller must immediately fulfill the Buyer’s request (within 1–2 business days).
- The Buyer has the right to withdraw from the purchase–sale agreement concluded with the Jaseviciausbaldai.lt online store by notifying the Seller in writing (via email, indicating the item to be returned and its order number) no later than within 14 calendar days from the date of delivery of the item.
- The Buyer’s right to withdraw from the purchase–sale agreement is exercised in accordance with Article 6.228-10 of the Civil Code of the Republic of Lithuania “Consumer’s right to withdraw from a distance contract and a contract concluded outside commercial premises,” paragraph 1, and the “Retail Trade Rules” approved by the Government of the Republic of Lithuania on 22 July 2014, Resolution No. 738.
- The Buyer may exercise the right to withdraw from the purchase–sale agreement only if the item has not been damaged or its appearance has not substantially changed, and it has not been used, has not been assembled, and remains in its original packaging.

A Buyer who has purchased a defective item from the Jaseviciausbaldai.lt online store has the right to:
- request the Seller to remove the defects free of charge;
- request the Seller to replace the defective item with an item of suitable quality free of charge;
- request the Seller to reduce the price accordingly;unilaterally terminate the agreement and request a refund of the paid amount.
6. Buyer’s Obligations
- The Buyer must pay for the goods and accept them in accordance with the procedures established in these Rules.
- If the data provided in the Buyer’s order form changes, the Buyer must immediately inform the Seller.
- When using the Jaseviciausbaldai.lt online store, the Buyer undertakes to comply with these Rules, other conditions clearly indicated in the online store, and not violate the legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania.7. Seller’s Rights
- The Seller has the right, at its discretion, to set a minimum shopping cart amount, i.e., the minimum sum required for the Buyer’s order to be processed. This amount is visible when reviewing the shopping cart.
- If the Buyer attempts to harm the stability or security of the online store or violates their obligations, the Seller has the right to immediately and without notice restrict or suspend the Buyer’s ability to use the online store, or in exceptional cases, cancel the Buyer’s registration.
- Under important circumstances, the Seller may temporarily or completely suspend the operation of the online store without prior notice to the Buyer.
- The Seller has the right to cancel the Buyer’s order without prior notice if the Buyer, having chosen payment by bank transfer, does not pay for the goods within 5 business days.
- If the Seller, due to important reasons, is unable to properly fulfill the order on time, the Seller reserves the right to change the delivery conditions and time or cancel the order by immediately informing the Buyer and refunding the payment if the Buyer has already paid.
8. Seller’s Obligations
- The Seller undertakes, under the conditions set out in these Rules and in the online store, to provide the Buyer with the opportunity to use the services offered by the Jaseviciausbaldai.lt online store.
- The Seller undertakes to respect the Buyer’s right to privacy regarding their personal information, i.e., to process the Buyer’s provided personal data only in accordance with Section 2 of the Rules and the legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania.
- The Seller undertakes to deliver the goods ordered by the Buyer to the address specified by the Buyer under the conditions set out in Section 10 of the Rules.
- If, due to important circumstances, the Seller is unable to deliver the ordered goods to the Buyer, the Seller undertakes to offer an analogous or as similar as possible item in terms of its characteristics. If the Buyer refuses to accept the analogous or similar item, the Seller undertakes to refund the Buyer the paid money within 3 (three) business days.
- If the Buyer exercises the right provided in Clause 5.3 of the Rules and the condition set out in Clause 5.5 of the Rules applies, the Seller undertakes to refund the Buyer the paid money within 10 (ten) business days, counted from the day the returned item is received.
9. Prices of Goods, Payment Procedure and Terms
- The prices of goods in the online store and in the formed order are indicated in euros.
- The Buyer pays for the goods in one of the following ways:
- Payment by bank transfer – payment in which the Buyer, after confirming the order and receiving payment instructions, transfers the money to the Jaseviciausbaldai.lt bank account.
- Payment in cash at the time of collection – the Buyer pays for the goods upon collection.
- The Seller reserves the right to require partial or full advance payment from the Buyer.
- The Seller reserves the right to require the Buyer to sign a furniture order agreement.
3. VAT invoices include the selected goods, their quantity, discounts provided, the final price of the goods including all taxes, and other data required by legal acts regulating accounting.
10. Delivery of Goods
- When ordering goods, the Buyer may choose the method of delivery, i.e., use the delivery service provided by the Seller or collect the goods at the Seller’s pickup point.
- Delivery of goods to the Buyer:
- The Buyer, having selected the delivery service during the order, undertakes to specify the exact delivery address.
- The Buyer undertakes to accept the goods personally. If the Buyer cannot accept the goods personally, but the goods are delivered to the specified address and based on other data provided by the Buyer, the Buyer has no right to make claims to the Seller regarding delivery to an incorrect recipient.
- Goods are delivered by the Seller or an authorized representative.
- Furniture is delivered only within the territory of the Republic of Lithuania.
- Furniture is delivered only to locations accessible by a cargo van.
- Goods are not carried upstairs.
- Goods may be carried upstairs if possible, for an additional fee.
- Collection of goods at the Seller’s pickup points:
- The Buyer may collect goods free of charge from the Seller’s pickup point.
- Ordered goods must be collected no later than within 10 business days from the moment the Seller confirms that the order is ready. If the Buyer does not collect the goods on time, the Seller reserves the right to cancel the order without notice and refund the advance payment if it was paid.
- Goods may be collected only by the person who placed the order or the person indicated during the order. When collecting goods, a valid identity document (ID card, passport, or new-format driver’s license) must be presented to the Seller’s employee.
- The Seller delivers goods to the Buyer according to the terms specified in the product descriptions. These terms are preliminary and do not apply when the Seller’s warehouse does not have the required goods, and the Buyer is informed about the shortage. The Buyer agrees that in exceptional cases, delivery may be delayed due to unforeseen circumstances beyond the Seller’s control. In such cases, the Seller undertakes to contact the Buyer immediately and coordinate delivery conditions.
- In all cases, the Seller is exempt from liability for delivery delays if the goods are not delivered or are delivered late due to the Buyer’s fault or circumstances dependent on the Buyer.
- Upon delivery of goods, the Buyer must, together with the Seller or their authorized representative, check the condition of the shipment and goods and sign the delivery–acceptance document. Once the Buyer signs the delivery–acceptance document, the shipment is considered delivered in proper condition, with no damage attributable to non-manufacturing defects and no discrepancies in the goods’ completeness (those detectable by external inspection). If the Buyer notices that the shipment packaging is damaged (crumpled, wet, or otherwise externally damaged), the goods are damaged and/or incomplete, the Buyer must note this in the delivery–acceptance document and, together with the Seller or their representative, draw up a free-form damage/discrepancy report. If the Buyer fails to perform these actions, the Seller is exempt from liability for goods damage not attributable to manufacturing defects and for completeness discrepancies detectable by external inspection.
- If the Seller cannot deliver the goods within the specified time and the Buyer has paid for the goods and delivery, the Seller contacts the Buyer to arrange a new delivery time. If the Buyer still does not accept the goods, the goods are returned to the Seller, the order is canceled, and the money is refunded to the same bank account.
11. Warranty of Goods Quality and Usability Term
- The characteristics of each item sold on Jaseviciausbaldai.lt are generally indicated in the product description provided next to each item.
- The Seller is not responsible if the goods displayed in the online store differ in color, shape, or other parameters from the actual goods due to the Buyer’s monitor settings.
- The Seller provides a 24‑month warranty for all goods unless otherwise specified in the product description.
- If the Seller does not provide a quality warranty for certain types of goods, the warranty established by the relevant legal acts applies.
- The Seller undertakes to perform warranty service within 15–45 business days.
12. Return and Exchange of Goods
- The Buyer may return furniture without stating a reason within 14 calendar days if the item is in its original packaging and unused. The Buyer may not exercise this right if the contract falls under one of the cases listed in Article 6.22810(2) of the Civil Code of the Republic of Lithuania.
- Defects of sold goods are eliminated, and defective goods are replaced or returned in accordance with the “Retail Trade Rules” approved by the Government of the Republic of Lithuania on 22 July 2014, Resolution No. 738.
- To return goods in the cases specified in Clause 12.2 of the Rules, the Buyer must inform the Seller by email at info@jaseviciausbaldai.lt.
- The Buyer may exercise the right provided in this Clause within 14 calendar days from the date of delivery of the goods by informing the Seller in accordance with the procedure set out in Clause 5.3 of the Rules.
- When returning goods, the Buyer must comply with the following conditions:
- the returned item must be in its original, undamaged packaging (this clause does not apply when returning a defective item);
- the item must not be damaged by the Buyer (changes in the appearance of the item or its packaging necessary for inspection cannot be considered essential changes);
- the item must be unused and must not have lost its commercial appearance (labels intact, protective films not removed, etc.) (this clause does not apply when returning a defective item);
- the returned item must be in the same completeness as received by the Buyer;
- the purchase document and warranty card must be provided when returning the item.
- The Seller has the right not to accept returned goods if the Buyer does not comply with the return procedure established in this section.
- The Buyer may return goods personally. If the Buyer cannot return the goods personally, the Seller undertakes to collect the goods and replace them with analogous suitable goods. If the Seller does not have analogous goods, the Seller refunds the Buyer the paid amount. If the Buyer wishes to return a quality unused item within the 14‑day period, the Seller collects such goods with its own transport at its own expense within a reasonable time.
- Return and exchange of goods are carried out in accordance with the “Retail Trade Rules” approved by the Government of the Republic of Lithuania on 22 July 2014, Resolution No. 738.
- We undertake to process the return within 10 business days unless otherwise agreed.
- Money for returned goods is always refunded by bank transfer and only to the payer’s bank account.
13. Liability
- The Buyer is fully responsible for the accuracy of the personal data they provide. If the Buyer does not provide accurate personal data, the Seller is not responsible for the resulting consequences and acquires the right to demand compensation from the Buyer for direct losses incurred.
- The Buyer is responsible for actions performed while using this online store.
- The Seller is exempt from any liability in cases where losses arise because the Buyer, disregarding the Seller’s recommendations and their own obligations, did not familiarize themselves with these Rules, even though such an opportunity was provided.
- If the Seller’s online store contains links to websites of other companies, institutions, organizations, or individuals, the Seller is not responsible for the information contained therein or the activities carried out, does not supervise or control those websites, and does not represent those companies or individuals.
- The Seller is not responsible for the proper fulfillment of mutual obligations between the Buyer and the Seller’s partners whose services the Buyer orders.
14. Exchange of Information
- The Seller sends all notifications to the Buyer’s email address provided in accordance with Clause 3.2 of the Rules.
- The Buyer sends all notifications and questions to the Seller using the contact methods indicated in the “Contacts” section of the Seller’s online store.
15. Final Provisions
- If you are dissatisfied with the quality of goods purchased from Jaseviciausbaldai.lt or the quality of service provided, please inform the administration by email at info@jaseviciausbaldai.lt. If you are dissatisfied with the response to your written complaint, request, or claim regarding goods purchased in the Jaseviciausbaldai.lt online store, you may fill out a request form on the European Online Dispute Resolution platform at http://ec.europa.eu/odr/. You may also submit a complaint, request, or claim regarding goods or services purchased in our online store to the State Consumer Rights Protection Authority (Vilniaus g. 25, 01402 Vilnius, email: tarnyba@vvtat.lt, website www.vvtat.lt).
- These Rules are drawn up in accordance with the legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania.
- The law of the Republic of Lithuania applies to relations arising on the basis of these Rules.
- All disputes arising from the implementation of these Rules are resolved through negotiation. If agreement cannot be reached, disputes are resolved in accordance with the legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania.
- These Purchase–Sale Rules were updated on 16 April 2020. All changes to the Purchase–Sale Rules will be communicated in accordance with Clause 2.6 of these Rules.
