Natural light, warm materials, minimalist aesthetics and forest surroundings – this is exactly the atmosphere that greets you in the two-story apartment “Inkilas”, the interior of which has become a great example of contemporary Japanese style. The project subtly merges functionality, aesthetics and an emotional connection with nature.
The interior is dominated by natural materials – oak veneer, bleached oak floors, clay plaster and soft earthy colours. All this creates a sense of peace, cosiness and harmony. The restraint characteristic of Japandi style is combined here with subtle oriental accents: perforated details, bamboo motifs and soft textures.
Individually tailored furniture solutions played a special role in this project. The family business A. Jasevičius furniture produced a dining table “Bali” specially adapted for this interior. The table was not only adapted to the overall colour aesthetics, but also created with functionality in mind – the extendable tabletop allows you to comfortably receive guests and adapt to everyday needs.
The natural oak massif and veneer gave the furniture durability, and at the same time – a feeling of warmth and naturalness. Such solutions are becoming increasingly important in modern interiors today, where not only design, but also quality and long-lasting value are valued.
This project perfectly reveals how individually made furniture can become not only a functional part of the interior, but also an important emotional accent. Properly selected materials, carefully coordinated colors and attention to detail allow you to create a seamless, harmonious home atmosphere where you want to be.
